Growing up with a keen sense of curiosity and love of the wild, Gabe Rogel has always made adventure the primary focal point of his life and career. Never one to take the road most traveled, Gabe finished high school and spent a year traveling alone throughout Nepal, Thailand and much of the lower 48 States. Returning home with a backpack full of transparencies and a newly-honed ability to capture the essence of the moment on film, Rogel Photo was born.
The following years, Gabe followed his heart and studied photography in college. A full page of the college brochure read, "Gabe Rogel worked into the night on his assignments. But he was shooting for editors, not grades. Before he graduated, Climbing Magazine chose one of Gabe's photos for the next calendar. Two months later, Patagonia chose his shot for a national ad. Sometimes, it helps to study hard."
Gabe is usually found traveling the globe, often with his wife Sara. He enjoys stinky cheese, wine, high-tech gadgets, and most of all, people from other places.
